IISER Pune has a well-maintained guesthouse on its premises with 48 double rooms, 48 rooms with twin beds and 8 VIP suites. The guesthouse has been designed to also serve as a mini-convention centre. A multipurpose hall with all audio-visual aids and a public address system is located on the first floor of the guesthouse building. It can accommodate up to 200 people with flexible seating arrangements. There are also three discussion rooms with cluster-type seating and two conferencence rooms with a round-table seating. All rooms are air-conditioned, and have projector and green/white boards and panelled walls for better acoustics. A well-equipped kitchen with a large dining hall is present on the ground floor, which would be available for conferences.
All guestrooms are aesthetically furnished and have attached bath (with hot-water), tea/coffee making facilities, telephone and internet access. Housekeeping services and reception desk are available round the clock. Laundry and shoe-shine services are also provided on request. Guests can use IISER Pune gymnasium, which has all the modern equipment and fitness accessories.
Several dining options are available for guests. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served at the lounge located on the ground floor of the guesthouse. In addition, the Institute’s Dining Hall Complex, which is about 3 minutes walking distance from the guesthouse, offers a variety of meal options including fast food. Coffee and snacks are also available at various places on campus.
An in-house doctor is present during office hours at the institute medical centre, while we also have an ambulance in-waiting and on-call emergency medical services. A State Bank of India ATM machine is installed at the dining hall complex. A general store offering common toiletry items, stationery, and photocopy / printing services is located within the campus.
