The Upcoming Campus :

The IISER Pune has been allotted 98 acres land on Pashan Road near National Chemical Laboratory for the purpose of building a permanent campus. The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India has sanctioned Rs 100 crore for the construction of campus which includes academic buildings, administration and residential complex on a area of 34000 and 83000 sq. meters respectively along with the essential services. The construction of hostel for the students has already begun. The IISER Pune has selected the consultant, M/s CR Narayana Rao, for planning of the campus. The institute campus will be an environment friendly place with best energy saving practices incorporated for minimal energy foot-print.
