  10. Dr Mayurika Lahiri and group have found that a DNA-dependent protein kinase that is involved in DNA repair, plays a role in transformation of normal cells to cancerous cells. The Hindu covered the news. The article was also cited on Science Chronicle (a science blog). January 22, 2018.

  11. IISER Pune and Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel jointly organised a conference on chemical biology from January 17-19, 2018 to promote collaborations and academic exchange between scientists from the two countries. Sakal Times reported on the meeting. January 20, 2018.

  12. Dr Sudha Rajamani's group researches chemical origins of life on earth. She was part of the NASA-Spaceward Bound Expedition to Ladakh.
