Swapna documented her observations through articles, interviews, photo essay and a 20-minute documentary on about 40 pyaavs distributed across Mumbai. These can be accessed on the Sahapedia web portal at this link. Sahapedia works in the field of arts, culture and heritage and through Sahapedia-UNESCO fellowship encourages research and documentation in diverse areas of cultural knowledge.

A graduate in history with a special interest in architecture, Swapna is now pursuing her PhD with Dr Pushkar Sohoni at the Humanities and Social Sciences discipline of IISER Pune. Her thesis work will explore the origins and architecture of temples around the Lonar Lake, a National Geo-heritage Monument located in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra.
