The Career Development Centre (CDC) at IISER Pune serves as an interface between the institute's students and the world of employers. The centre has three primary functions:

• to provide advice to students considering careers in Academia
• to help students identify career opportunites in R&D labs of the Government as well as Industry
• to facilitate the placement process
