Max Planck Partner Group in Quantum Field Theory IISER Pune hosts the Partner Group of the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics led by Dr. Sudarshan Ananth. The Group focuses on research themes that relate to the apparent incompatibility between quantum mechanics and the general theory of relativity. The Group is funded by the Max Planck Society, Germany and the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. The corresponding scientist at the MPI is Prof. Hermann Nicolai.
