Abstract

The foundational justification of machine learning methods is the law of large numbers. The proof of the law is a simple corollary of the 0-1 law of Kolmogorov. In the developing AI world, we expect a resurgence in interest to understand the proof of 0-1 law. Its technical measure theoretic proof poses a formidable challenge to this developing endeavour. By observing 0-1 law as False -Truth law as in logic, we invoke simple yet powerful results in discrete mathematics to prove the 0-1 law without using any measure theory.
