Magnetic Resonance - Applications in NMR and Quantum Information Processing

Prof. Dieter Suter works on diverse experimental topics such as the development of advanced magnetic resonance techniques, optically enhanced magnetic resonance, quantum information processing, and medical physics applications of magnetic resonance.

Prof. Suter is a Professor in Physics at the Technische Universität Dortmund, Germany.  During his association with IISER Pune as SERB-VAJRA Adjunct Faculty, Prof. Suter will visit the institute 1-3 months at a time to pursue research collaborations in magnetic resonance and quantum information processing, interact with faculty and students at IISER Pune, and deliver lectures on research topics.

The Visiting Advanced Joint Research (VAJRA) Faculty Scheme has been instituted by the Department of Science and Technology's Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) with an aim to bring a strong international connect to the R&D ecosystem of India. Prof. T.S. Mahesh from IISER Pune will be hosting Prof. Suter as part of this programme.
