About Library

Srinivasa Ramanujan Library of IISER Pune is a creative and innovative partner in teaching, learning and research activities to support institute's vision to establish scientific institution of the highest caliber where teaching and education are totally integrated with state-of-the-art research.

The library has a rich collection of reference books, textbooks and research journals in electronic as well as in print formats in the field of basic sciences and allied subjects. Online full-text databases, abstracting and indexing databases and multimedia resources are also part of library’s collection. Circulation system of the library is completely automated with RFID based technology and biometric enabled user authentication. Continuous efforts are being put to apply ICT in all possible operations of the library to keep improving quality and efficiency its services.

Remote Access Portal: Remote Access Portal provides secured off-campus access to all the subscribed e-resources of Srinivasa Ramanujan Library. It covers full-text resources like faculty and students publications, theses, dissertations and many more. Metadata records of the repository are also integrated with National Digital Library of India.

National Digital Library of India (NDLI)
National Digital Library of India initiated by MHRD and managed by IIT Khargpur is catering to the requirement of learning content for students of various categories and educational levels from primary to postgraduate, teachers, researchers and lifelong learners. Following two databases are also made available through NDLI.
