Under the National Network for Mathematical and Computational Biology (NNMCB), a 2-day lecture programme on "Advances in Mathematical and Computational Biology (AMCB 2016)" is going to be held during "May 21-22, 2016". The meeting will take place at the "Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar" in the district of Rupnagar, Punjab (Approx 1hr by road from Chandigarh Airport). The meeting is being jointly organized by the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, which hosts the Mohali node of NNMCB. The meeting is expected to have 60-70 participants.
The meeting aims to bring together Researchers, Research Scholars, and Senior Undergraduate students from diverse fields of Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry to exchange and share their experiences and research results about different aspects of Mathematical and Computational Biology. In this meeting, we wish to focus on conceptual and methodological issues, together with experimental data. Along with presentations, a major emphasis would be on discussions.
