The Science and Engineering Research Board, Government of India has funded a National Network for Mathematical and Computational Biology (NNMCB). The primary goal of this network is to promote research activities and provide training in mathematical and computational biology throughout India. This network has seven nodes spread across India: Bangalore (principal node), Chennai, Delhi, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mohali and Pune.
Seminar Circuit allows faculty members, post-docs and students working in mathematical and computational biology to visit and give talks at universities/colleges outside their region. Any academic or reseach institution in India can propose to host a faculty member listed on the NNMCB web page (after obtaining the consent of the visitor). List of faculty associated with NNMCB can be found at http://www.iiserpune.ac.in/~mbio/?q=nnmcb/people&page=1. Post-docs and final year Ph.D. students can also propose to visit other institutions for interactions/seminars after obtaining the consent of the host institution. Selected members will be paid TA and honorarium as per norms for the duration of the visit. All proposals should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org with the prescribed application form.
