The project aims to apply advanced multivariate techniques (for eg. DNNs or VAEs) to current problems in collider physics.
Familiarity with basics of machine learning. Familiarity with basics of collider physics, and data analysis at CMS.
Reasonable knowledge of Cplusplus and python. Familiarity with a ML library (such as usage of tensorflow or pytorch).
