Overview

Admission to the BS-MS programme at IISER Pune is coordinated through a pan-IISER Joint Admissions Committee for all IISERs across India and is coordinated centrally through this portal.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exam with science stream in current year of application or the year before are eligible to apply for admissions. Candidates will be admitted to an IISER through one of the following three channels.

• Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel
• Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Advanced) of the Indian Institutes of Technology
• State and Central Boards Channel (SCB)

Students aspiring to join one of the IISERs may apply through one or more of these channels; however, they will need to submit separate applications for each channel. Candidates applying through the SCB channel will need to write an IISER aptitude test.
