Accessible Science: Fostering Collaboration

The G20 Education Working Group (EdWG) is one of 13 working groups on the Sherpa track under India’s 2023 G20 presidency. The EdWG focuses on strengthening learning outcomes and fostering equitable access to education through technological tools, financing, international partnerships, and more. The 4th G20 EdWG meeting is being held in Pune during June 19 to 22, 2023, with a focus on strengthening research and innovation through collaboration.
The G20 Education Working Group under the Ministry of Education has put forward a thought-provoking and insightful one-day seminar at IISER Pune (C V Raman Auditorium), on 16th June to discuss various dimensions of “Accessible Science.” The seminar will focus on enhancing academic and research collaboration among educational institutions in G20 countries and aligning academic research with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).
Hon’ble Dr. Subhash Sarkar, Minister of State for Education, and Shri K. Sanjay Murthy, Secretary, Higher Education, MoE will be gracing the occasion.
The DoHE, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, in partnership with Elsevier and IISER Pune, is hosting this one-day seminar that will provide an opportunity to understand and learn about the multi-faceted approaches to enhance academic interactions and foster collaboration.
