Abstract:
Clifford's geometric algebra is an elegant framework to study dynamics and symmetries, however, it is not widely used. After a brief introduction to the results relevant for our purpose, we shall study a simple model of a nonlinear oscillator that can be solved analytically. It extends the two-dimensional Stuart-Landau system to any dimension, providing an illustrative model for the Hopf bifurcation.
