Registrations for 'Regulation of gene expression: quantitative' workshops are now open. These are advanced, paid, hands-on one day long workshops for college students (BSc, MSc, PhD) and anyone interested.

In this workshop, bacterial gene expression will be quantified using Real time qPCR. Participants will prepare cDNA, set up a RT-qPCR assay and analyze the results to check for differential gene expression in bacteria. Alongside this they will also learn primer designing for RT-qPCR and testing primer efficiency (e value).

Timing will be from 09:00 AM to 5:00 PM
