Registrations are also open for the Molecular Biology workshops on 'Microbial Investigator: DNA-based species ID'. These are basic, paid, hands-on one day long workshops for high school students (9th-12th), college students and anyone interested. Experiments include extracting bacterial genomic DNA, setting up a polymerase chain reaction (PCR), agarose gel electrophoresis and basic bioinformatics like BLAST. Certificates will be provided after completion of the workshop. Timing will be from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
