VOICE Fellowship Training Programme

on climate, environment, and public health communication

The CARE Project at IISER Pune is hosting the inaugural VOICE Fellowship, a five-day residential training programme on climate, environment, and public health communication from 16-20 December 2025. 

The CARE Project (Communicating Action and Resilience for Environmental Health in India) is led by Dr. Shalini Sharma, faculty member from the Humanities and Social Sciences Department of IISER Pune. 

The first cohort comprises over 40 grassroots journalists and storytellers selected from across India, representing diverse regional and community contexts.

As part of this programme, a science exhibition and panel discussion titled "Drawn to Discovery: Alternative Media Where Art Meets Science" being held on December 16, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 7 pm is open to the public.
