SPARC Symposium on Coiled Coil Proteins and other Helical Assemblies

A one-day symposium titled ‘Coiled coil proteins and other helical assemblies’ is being organised at IISER Pune on February 27, 2026. The symposium is organised as part of an ongoing collaboration supported by SPARC (Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration), funded by the Ministry of Education.
The symposium includes lectures on structure and functional aspects of coiled coil and helical assemblies in biology, ranging from bacterial flagella, efflux pumps, cytoskeleton, cell signalling, chemosensory systems, nuclear pore complexes, restriction enzymes, amyloid fibrils and intermediate filament assemblies.
