Schur Partition Functions and RCFT characters

Abstract:
I discuss the Schur partition function of supersymmetric gauge theories in 3+1 dimensions, and their relation to the characters of 2d rational conformal field theories. The talk is based on my recent paper arXiv:2512.02107 with Palash Singh (Milan) and Ramesh Chandra (ICTS).
