EMBO Global Lecture Series
Title: Lrrn-Mediated Retinal Ganglion Cell Targeting Drives Visual Circuit Assembly for Brightness and Contrast Detection
by Dr Filippo Del Bene (Institut de la Vision, Paris)
Venue: Seminar Room 34, Main Building, IISER Pune
About the speaker:
Filippo Del Bene's laboratory uses the zebrafish as a powerful in vivo model to investigate how neural circuits process sensory information and drive behaviour. His group has pioneered precision gene editing, optogenetics, light-sheet imaging, and genetic circuit mapping approaches. His work lies at the intersection of developmental neuroscience, systems-level circuit analysis, and vision science.
