Dr. Chandrashekhar Borkar, faculty member in the Department of Biology, has been selected to receive the prestigious IBRO Rising Star Award by the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO). Dr. Borkar is among the 21 investigators across 14 countries and areas selected for the 2026 round of awards by IBRO, which is a global association that promotes and supports neuroscience training, education, research, and outreach worldwide.
