Research grant to IISER Pune student team

A team of IISER Pune students has won a grant of Rs. 10 lakh from DBT for designing and developing a bio-sensor based tool to detect presence of lead in river water. This project will be a part of the international Genetically Engineered Machines (iGEM) competition held each year. Indian Express and Pune Mirror reported. June 24, 2019
