The Internal Committee (IC) conducts orientation programmes every year for newly joined batches of students. Seminars and Workshops are conducted for faculty and staff on different occasions during the year. The IC Presiding Officer shares information on resources, webinars, etc, with everyone at the institute via email.

Discussion session on "What makes a campus safe", led by Nandita Bhatt of the Martha Farrell Foundation on December 2, 2022. This session was open to all at IISER Pune.
Based on the 2020 International Women's Day campaign theme, the Internal Committee organised the following events on March 5, 2020.
- Talk by Dr. A Mani (Senior Member, International Rough Set Society, Visiting Faculty/Researcher, HBCSE, TIFR) on Overcoming the patriarchal conditioning for women in STEM
- Talk by Aashima Dogra (Founder, Life of Science) on Celebrating the success and struggle of Indian women in Science
- Dance performance by "Navarasa" IISER Pune Dance Club
