JC Bose Chair Professors at IISER Pune

The J C Bose Chair Professorship was instituted, at IISER Pune, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed Ministry of Education in August 2020), Govt. of India on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of the eminent Indian scientist Sir J C Bose.

The JC Bose Chair allows IISER Pune to invite eminent and distinguished scientists to spend time at the Institute, interacting with faculty and students and to lecture on frontier and emerging research areas. Scientists who had so far visited IISER Pune in the capacity of JC Bose Chair Professors are listed below.
