CRS Silver Medal to Prof. T.S. Mahesh

Prof. T.S. Mahesh, faculty member in the Department of Physics, has been honoured with the prestigious CRS Silver Medal by the Chirantan Rasayan Sanstha (CRS) of India. As part of this honour, Prof. Mahesh has been invited to deliver an Award Lecture at the International Symposium, “Science Beyond Boundary: Invention, Discovery, Innovation and Society-Rasayan 23,” to be held at Saurashtra University, Rajkot, during July 8-10, 2026.

This award recognises Prof. T.S. Mahesh’s outstanding contributions to the field of physics. Prof. T.S. Mahesh’s group works in the research areas of NMR spectroscopy, quantum information, optimal control and artificial intelligence. Read more about the group's research here

The Chirantan Rasayan Sanstha was established in 2016 with the mission to popularise science at all levels for the benefit of society.
