Dr Mousomi Bhakta gets INSA Young Scientist Medal 2018

Dr Mousomi Bhakta, Assistant Professor in Mathematics at IISER Pune, has won the ‘Young Scientist Medal’ of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi.
38ce3_Mousomi-BhaktaThe INSA, a body of Indian scientists created in 1935 for promotion of scientific knowledge in the country, awards the Young Scientist Medal each year. It is a prestigious and competitive award given to Indian scientists below the age of 35 years in recognition of promise, creativity and excellence in science and mathematics.
Dr Bhakta has been awarded the Medal for 2018. She is a mathematician working on elliptic PDE, nonlinear analysis and variational methods. Her award citation reads "Dr. Bhakta  established  results  on  Hardy  equations  with  critical  and  super  critical  non-linearities,   and   obtained   significant   regularity   results   on   bounded   and   unbounded   domains."
