Prof. Sutirth Dey and Prof. R. Boomi Shankar are among those selected to receive the SERB-STAR award for 2021. A total of 19 researchers from research institutions across India have been selected for this Award for the year 2021.
The Science and Technology Award for Research (STAR) is a prestigious award instituted by the Science and Engineering Research Board to recognise and reward outstanding performance of Principal Investigators (PIs) of SERB Projects. The Award includes a fellowship of Rs. 15,000 per month and a research grant of Rs. 10 lakh per year for a period of three years.
