Shamin Padalkar
Visiting Faculty
Science Education
Dr. Shamin Padalkar earned her doctorate from the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (TIFR, Mumbai) and pursued her postdoctoral research at the University of California Santa Barbara. She worked as an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Excellence in Teacher Education (TISS, Mumbai) from 2015 to 2024 and also held the position of visiting faculty in IUCAA, Pune. Dr. Padalkar became a member of Indian National Academy of Young Sciences (INYAS) in 2022. She is also a member of the textbook development team of NCERT for ‘The Word Around Us’.
