"Mr. Bill Gates said that earning money is easy, but spending it well is very tough. I congratulate the management of IISER Pune and also the CSR team at Bajaj Auto Ltd in realizing the construction of the 'Bajaj Auto Ltd Hall of Residence for Women scholars' at the IISER Pune campus, well within the stipulated time and budget. We are also now instituting three Chair Professorships and one Distinguished Visiting Professorship at IISER Pune. While the majority of our financial contribution to IISER Pune supplemented the infrastructure of the institute, through these Chair Professorships, we are achieving the overarching purpose to contribute to the cause of science and to make India proud of its achievements. This brings our collaboration with IISER Pune to a full cycle."
