Three members from IISER Pune have been selected for prestigious awards by the Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) for the year 2025.
The Founding Director of IISER Pune Prof. K. N. Ganesh (presently at JNCASR, Bengaluru), has been selected for the CRSI Gold Medal. This prestigious honour reflects his high eminence and outstanding lifetime contribution to chemistry research. Two faculty members in the Chemistry department have been recognised for their research contributions through CRSI awards: Prof. Pinaki Talukdar has been selected for the C. N. R. Rao National Prize and Prof. Nirmalya Ballav has been selected to receive the CRSI Bronze Medal.
