Faculty member Dr. Srabanti Chaudhury from the Chemistry department has been awarded the DAAD Scholarship for Research Stays for University Academics and Scientists, 2024. The scholarship aims at supporting short-term research stays and exchange of experience and networking amongst colleagues in Germany.
Working in the area of theoretical physical chemistry, Dr. Srabanti Chaudhury's group studies problems in chemical/biological physics, and soft condensed matter. For this, Dr. Chaudhury's group uses methods of statistical mechanics and stochastic processes. Visit the group's webpage to learn more about their work. The DAAD Scholarship will enable Dr. Chaudhury to carry out research for two months at the University of Potsdam, Germany.
