Drug abuse remains one of the most pressing public health and safety challenges facing our nation today. While law enforcement and rehabilitation efforts play a critical role, a proactive, large-scale media campaign serves as a powerful tool to prevent drug abuse by raising awareness, changing perceptions, and empowering communities to take action.
In light of the directions of the Hon'ble Union Home Minister, a Nationwide Drug Awareness Campaign is proposed on August 15-16, 2025 to raise public awareness regarding drug abuse and to mobilise support for control.
To commemorate the 5th Anniversary of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan campaign, it is proposed to reach to 3 crore individuals to strengthen anti drug free efforts, drug free society through impactful story telling, performances and testimonials.
