IISER Pune researchers in collaboration with IIT-B developed a scalable, cost-effective method for producing high-density and low-dispersity metal nanoparticles. Their research approach provides a straightforward route for fabricating metal nanoparticles through a simple confined-dewetting method, with widespread applications.
The study was led by Dr. Ayesha Rahman (Research Scientist at I-Hub Quantum Technology Foundation hosted by IISER Pune), and research groups of Prof. Anirban Sain (faculty member at the Department of Physics, IIT Bombay), and Dr. Atikur Rahman (faculty member at the Department of Physics, IISER Pune).
