Prof. Pinaki Talukdar elected as a Fellow of the West Bengal Academy of Science & Technology and recipient of the JSPS Invitational Fellowship for Research in Japan

Prof. Pinaki Talukdar, faculty member in the department of Chemistry at IISER Pune, has been elected as a Fellow of the prestigious West Bengal Academy of Science and Technology for the year 2023. Prof. Talukdar has also recently received the JSPS Invitational Fellowship for Research in Japan (Short Term) for the financial year 2024 from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

Founded in 1989, the West Bengal Academy of Science & Technology (WAST) comprises of most distinguished engineers, engineer-scientists and technologists covering the entire spectrum of science and engineering disciplines from the State of West Bengal. The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) carries out programmes that provide excellent researchers from countries outside Japan an opportunity to conduct collaborative research, discussions, and opinion exchanges with researchers in Japan.
