Two faculty members selected as INSA Associate Fellows

Two faculty members from IISER Pune Dr. Diptimoy Ghosh (Associate Professor, Physics Department) and Dr. Haripada Sau (Assistant Professor, Mathematics Department) have been selected as Associate Fellows of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi for the year 2023.

A total of 40 Associate Fellows from institutions across India were chosen for the 2023 round of Associate Fellowship. At the link here is the announcement from INSA.

INSA initiated the Associate Fellowship in 2023 to recognise research excellence and support young scientists in India researchers. The Associate Fellows will receive a fellowship for one year and a one-time travel grant for attending international conferences within two years of the fellowship. 

Dr. Diptimoy Ghosh  Dr. Haripada Sau

Dr. Diptimoy Ghosh's research is in the areas of theoretical particle physics and cosmology, and Dr. Haripada Sau's research is on Hilbert space operator theory. Learn more about their research here and here, respectively.
