Anupam Singh obtained his PhD from Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore in 2006. He was a post-doc at TIFR, Mumbai and IMSc, Chennai before joining IISER Pune in 2008.
Research
Groups of Lie type
The research interest of Anupam Singh is focused on conjugacy questions in groups of Lie type, and the word maps on finite groups of Lie type. Apart from these his interest also involves Lie algebras, algebraic groups and central simple algebras.
