Dr. Siddhesh Kamat, a faculty member in the Department of Biology at IISER Pune, has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, U.K

A professional body for chemical scientists and one of the oldest chemical societies in the world, the Royal Society of Chemistry supports and represents a worldwide community. Fellows of the RSC have the opportunity to channel their expertise and commitment to promoting the value of chemistry, through the international framework of the Society.

Dr. Siddhesh Kamat

Dr. Siddhesh Kamat's research group works on the biological mechanisms of lipid signalling pathways in the mammalian nervous and immune system. A focus area is to annotate enzymes and receptors that regulate the biology of the lipid signaling pathways and provide new insights and therapeutic paradigms.
