Prof. Sujit K. Ghosh from the Department of Chemistry has been selected to receive the MRSI Materials Science Annual Prize for the year 2025.
This prize is awarded by the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI) and will be presented to him during the Annual General Meeting of MRSI, to be held at NISER, Bhubaneswar, during December 17–20, 2025.

This prestigious award recognises Prof. Ghosh's outstanding contributions to the field of materials science. Prof. Sujit Ghosh's research group is working on the development and functional studies of various advanced porous materials like Metal-organic Frameworks (MOFs), Metal-organic Polyhedra (MOPs), Porous organic polymers (POPs), Hydrogen-bonded Organic Frameworks (HOFs), nano-composites of porous materials etc. for chemical industry, energy and environmental applications.
