Prof. Pinaki Talukdar selected for Silver Star Medal of the Chirantan Rasayan Sanstha

Prof. Pinaki Talukdar, faculty member in the Department of Chemistry, has been selected to receive the prestigious CRS Silver Star Award given by the Chirantan Rasayan Sanstha (CRS).

The CRS Silver Star Medal is a prestigious recognition conferred by CRS to honour individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the field of chemical sciences, particularly in research and innovation that demonstrate significant impact.

Established to promote excellence in chemical sciences, Chirantan Rasayan Sanstha, based at the Vidyasagar University Campus, Midnapore (West Bengal), is a scholarly society committed to fostering scientific research, education, and outreach in chemistry. Through its annual awards and symposia, CRS recognises the accomplishments of leading researchers across India and provides a platform for meaningful scientific exchange.

Prof. Talukdar has been invited to deliver an award lecture at the upcoming two-day symposium titled “Science Beyond Boundary: Invention, Discovery, Innovation, and Society – Rasayan 21”, to be held at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, during August 01–02, 2025. The award will be presented to him during this event.
