YouTube's Silver Creator Award to IISER Pune Science Activity Centre

IISER Pune's Smt. Indrani Balan Science Activity Centre (SAC)'s YouTube channel received the Silver Creator Award from YouTube, which is given to channels that have passed 100,000 subscribers. 

The award was received on October 17, 2025, and unveiled the same day by Dr. Aparna Deshpande (Faculty In-charge, SAC) and Prof. Devapriya Chattopadhyay (Associate Dean, Outeach) during a meeting of the outreach teams on campus.

The SAC's YouTube Channel produces content related to hands-on DIY science learning, generating valuable resources for teachers, students, and enthusiasts. Since joining YouTube in July 27, 2017, the channel has consistently shared 719 videos in Hindi, English, and Marathi, covering a wide range of content such as live sessions, STEM videos, lesson plans, science day celebrations, teacher workshops, and interactive activities, gaining 6,725,305 views.
