Two faculty members from IISER Pune Prof. Sujit K. Ghosh (Professor, Chemistry Department) and Prof. Kalika Prasad (Professor, Biology Department) have been elected as Fellows of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi for the year 2025.
A total of 78 fellows have been newly elected as Fellows this year from across various science institutions in India. The affiliation will be effective from January 2026 onwards.

Prof. Sujit K. Ghosh is receiving this recognition for his research on porous organic frameworks with promising applications, and Prof. Kalika Prasad for his work on understanding of how plant tissues regenerate after wounding. Learn more about their research here and here, respectively.
