About

Srinivasa Ramanujan Library is named after mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan. Its aim is to provide access to high quality information resources in all forms to IISER Pune community and achieve excellence in service. Library is an integral part of academic and research work on campus. It supports teaching, learning, and research programmes of the institute with its relevant collection, specialized online information and research support services.

The library has a rich collection of reference books, textbooks and research journals in electronic as well as in print formats in the field of basic sciences and allied subjects. Online full-text databases, abstracting and indexing databases and multimedia resources are also part of library’s collection.

A large part of the journals and online resources’  subscription is through e-ShodhSindhu – a national consortium for higher education e-resources formed by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India, and 'IISER Library Consortium'.

Library services are completely automated with all the required software tools, RFID technology, and biometric user authentication system. Digital Repository (DR) of the library serves as a platform for the IISER Pune community to share their research work with the wider community.

Library: 8:00 am to 11:00 pm on all days including holidays

Circulation Kiosk: 8:00 am to 11:00 pm on all days including holidays

Reference Desk: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on working days

Library Annexe: 24X7
